It’s easy to exchange brand color specifications via ASE files. But still improvements can be made to this procedure: sharing project based ASE files, instead of ASE files with all colors. And that’s the task of the Color eXchange Coordinator: create a subset of the colors, only those needed in the project, save that as ASE file and provide this to the designer, the person doing the layout, together with the rest of the project briefing. The video tutorial shows how it’s done! And more information about this new job profile can be found in this article on insights4print.ceo.
